3 Is there any numbering of his soldiers? and upon whom shall not his light arise? |
3 He, the lord of countless armies, he, whose light dazzles every eye! |
4 Numquid justificari potest homo comparatus Deo? aut apparere mundus natus de muliere? |

5 Behold even the moon doth not shine, and the stars are not pure in his sight. |
5 Dim shews the moon, tarnished the stars, under his eye; |
6 quanto magis homo putredo, et filius hominis vermis? |
6 How much less man that is rottenness and the son of man who is a worm? |
6 and what is man but waste and worm in his presence? |
